Krissh 3 – what’s it worth?
“Tujhe, apna banaane ki kasam, khayi hai, khayi hai….”
Oh, Hi-Hello hai Bhai log!! Tooo much politics all around
naa?! Chalo lets take a breather!! :)
Rrakesh Roshann, err pardon me if I mistakenly duplicate or
miss out some of the same or silent letters in the proper nouns used while
talking about anything related to this man, whether its ‘H’rit‘h’ik, ‘H’rehaan
or ‘H’r‘h’eedan so on and so forth….bole toh all the names of “Rakesh Roshan - Sons
“ starting from ‘H’ and the names of all his Films starting with “K”!!!!! :)
Oh, how I got entangled in the tangles of disarrayed letters
and words….o koi nai, mainu kee, hain jee?!...I am supposed to be talking about
the movie, right?!...
The thing is, I was actually waiting for it since long, even
while having made up my mind that it could and would offer nothing more than
even better special effects, and I wasn’t disappointed on that account.
I was happy to see a full house entering the theatre even
after more than a week of its release. I was encouraged, happy, relieved…ready,
steady, po…!!
I was disappointed !!
Disappointed not by the movie but by the response and
reception of the movie. It might be a hit, for the technical reasons or due to
kids’ support but I feel there are very genuine reasons that put this movie at
a very high pedestal in the modern parlance.
Was it difficult for Mr Rakesh Roshan to make the superhero,
like Superman from some remote planet, some Cryptonian? I think not, while that
would have made it easier for him to get acceptance from the general masses,
but he chose otherwise.
Of course he had to use the Jadoo effect, yet he used it
very intelligently, not hampering, rather projecting the hero’s personality in
the forefront.
For us Indians the superpowers are all our super Gods, Ram
and Krishna as India’s very soul. He chose to name our hero, Krishna Mehra
alias Krishh, and not some name signifying power or superiority, like Toofan,
Shahanshaah, Shaktimaan, Hero, etc!!
Krishh is totally down to earth, humble to the core. In fact
Rohit Mehra originally was a mentally
challenged kid, inferior to even primary school kids… yet the important
point is, that when he does get the superpowers, this humility and innocence of
his personality remains unaltered!!.... see?!! :)
The director is hell bent not to get his superhero above the
common ordinary Indian at any cost!! Every one should identify with Krissh,
everyone should feel and finally act like Krissh !!! see?! :)
And then, if that was not all, in Krissh 3 he starts off
distributing the Krissh Bands of valour to very very ordinary people even
children and women, anyone who display the slightest guts to serve
humanity…see?!! :)
Aur abhi baat yahi khatm nahi huyi….when it seemed
inevitable that either of the two had to get the lethal virus injected into
their system, the reason why the son took it and not the father was not because
he was a superhero or that it was father’s love, it was solely because the
father would be needed as a scientist
to make and use the antidote!!
Rohit Mehra might be a famous scientist but Krissh works at
lower and commonly not so sophisticated jobs, like that as a security guard or
in some restaurant etc, not even as a clerk in some office !! see?!! :)
Now what to say about the SuperBad-Man, Kaal !! oh how
beautifully he created Kaal, who despite being so physically challenged so as
not be able to move anything of his body than a finger, could make the world
dance to his tunes and be the threat to its very survival.
His origin was so convincingly conceived that we don’t
disbelieve any thing that is shown including the animal like characteristics of
his Manwars.
Vivek Oberoi I think can now be relieved that he finally
delivered !! :))))) thanx to Rakesh Roshan !!
I had heard before that its music was inconsequential !!
well it was, yes, but not because Rakesh Roshan made wrong selections of
composers etc, it was solely because he didn’t want to divert his energies, work
force or time into that sector,
rather he wanted the audience to concentrate of the technical and
directorial brilliance that they were to witness.
Arre bhai, was it at all difficult for Rakesh Roshan to put
a juicy item number or some large budget multi starrer song? Hain jee? He decided
instead to work on things like a tiny but very effective comic piece of ace,
Rajpal Yadav, which goes on to reiterate that he knows exactly what he wants
and how !! :)
In the wake of the fact that Indian superheroes don’t flourish,
we need to help Krissh do. Njoy the movie, try not to criticize unnecessarily,
try not to be judgmental, see how the small kids enjoy, be happy in their
happiness !! Hail Bollywud!! Hail Krissh!!! :)
Toh bhaiya sarkar chahe kisi ki bhi bane, Bollywud and more
so, Krissh will always have one motto for us…
“Tujhe, apna banane ki kasam, khayi hai….khayi hai!!” :)
with this, I take ur leave, take care, be happy, be
contented, smile always!!
Bye bye from me here at Page-3 !! :)
